Heather Hurst

Heather is the Vice-president and cofounder of the Archangel Foundation.
She was born and raised in Missouri and has been a resident of Arizona for 15 years.
Her father, Gary Hurst, was killed in Missouri by an impaired driver in 1993.
 Since that time she has dedicated countless hours to increasing awareness and educating the public on the issues of DUI.
She has been working with the East Valley DUI Task Force for 11 years. She works closely with law enforcement agencies and other organizations dealing with Arizona's traffic safety issues and is also currently working to help increase awareness to Arizona youth regarding underage alcohol consumption and DUI

Janet Bosley

Janet is the secretary of the Board of Directors for the Archangels Foundation and has been a member of the Archangels for about 9 years.
Janet's daughter, Barbie, was killed by an impaired driver in 1994 at the age of 18 years old. After her daughters death, Janet became very active in the area of DUI education. Janet has been speaking at the Victim Impact Panel for many years and speaks to various other groups regarding the impact the crash has had on her and her family.
She speaks to officers during their training at the police academy to let them know what an officer can do to help make it easier for families to cope in a time of crisis and how a crash not only impacts the victim and their family but the impaired driver, their families and the community. She has spoken before the Arizona legislature regarding issues related to DUI. She pushed very hard to see that our DUI laws be changed to include a lower blood alcohol content (BAC) law of .08 down from a previous .10.
Janet spends countless hours supporting the East Valley DUI Task Force in their efforts to reduce the number of impaired drivers on our roadways. She also came up with and put into effect the organizations first fundraising event, the Tree of a Hundred Angels in honor of her daughter. All of the proceeds from this event go toward supporting the DUI Task Force. It is Janet's goal to see it become mandatory for all licensed drivers to learn and understand what impairment is from a legal standpoint and what the alternatives and choices are that one has to driving after drinking.


Aaron Fraser

Aaron is a member of the Board of Directors and cofounder of the Archangel Foundation.
While serving in the U.S. Army he was a passenger in an impaired-driving crash in 1985, breaking his neck and is now paralyzed and in a wheelchair. Moving to Arizona in 1992, he has been active in speaking to others around the valley about impaired driving and the details of the crash. Aaron is able to give the perspective from an offenders point of view along with that as a victim.
He has been involved with the East Valley DUI Task Force for 11 years.
